Book your first fitting through our website or by calling us. Be sure to bring the undergarments and shoes you plan to wear on your big day.
Step 2
At check-in, we kindly ask for a $40 consultation fee. This non-refundable fee will be applied toward your alteration total if you choose to have Altered Gown complete your alterations.
During your fitting, you’ll work one-on-one with a bridal seamstress to discuss your vision and determine the best approach to achieving the perfect fit. There are often several ways to reach your desired look—each with its own benefits and considerations—which is why we treat these appointments as true consultations. We combine your vision with our expertise to create a beautifully tailored result.
Your seamstress will then prepare a detailed quote and schedule your second fitting.
Step 3
Return for your second fitting—your exciting first look at your gown with the initial alterations! Most dresses require only two fittings, though occasionally a third is needed depending on the complexity of the work.
Step 4
Once your gown fits flawlessly and your remaining balance is paid, you’re all set! You can move on to other wedding plans knowing your dream dress is ready for your big day.
